One Book Bradford
One Book Bradford is a collaborative and enthusiastic venture among book lovers from all walks of life in our community under the auspices of the Bradford Area Public Library. Our mission is to choose a book each year for a community-wide read, which will capture the interest and imagination of a wide spectrum of readers and potential readers in our community. We aspire to strengthen community bonds through the shared experience of reading one book and enjoying planned activities together.
By showcasing a book and offering programs which culminate in an author visit or a comparable literary experience, we present a unique opportunity for our audience to develop a better understanding of the process of creating a published work. We hope readers find inspiration and insight while exploring the themes presented in the chosen book while actively participating in One Book Bradford programs.
