Calling all Story Seekers! The Bradford Area Public Library invites families with children ages birth to five to participate in our Story Seekers program every Monday and Friday at 11:00 am. We offer a variety of literacy activities that include reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing! A new story is offered each week with play experiences that encourage active learning and inspire the imagination. Children have opportunities to create their own stories using art materials, building blocks, dramatic play, and music and movement.
During the month of September, the Story Seekers will share a book and plan an activity covering the themes of games and animals. Story Seekers will be busy playing Simon Says, singing the “Baby Shark” song and doing crafts related to the books. On September 6th, we will celebrate Grandparents Day and make a special gift for grandma. Are you ready for football? We are ready to read Kick the Football Charlie Brown by Charles M. Shultz. We will do a football craft.
An anonymous donor sponsored the Story Seekers Program for September.
