Story Seekers

Mon, Apr 22, 2019
11:00am - 12:00pm

Calling all Story Seekers!  The Bradford Area Public Library invites families with children ages birth to five to participate in our Story Seekers program every Monday and Friday at 11:00 am. We offer a variety of literacy activities that include reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing! A new story is offered each week with play experiences that encourage active learning and inspire the imagination. Children have opportunities to create their own stories using art materials, building blocks, dramatic play, and music and movement.

During the month of April, the Story Seekers will share a book and plan an activity covering the themes of Easter, Earth Day, National Library Week and fish. Fishing season is almost here. The Story seekers will listen to McElligot’s Pool by Dr. Seuss and do a fish craft. Miss Judy will read Fancy Nancy Every Day Is Earth Day and crafts related to Earth Day. For National Library Week, a guest story reader from United Way will read A Library Book for Bear and do a special library craft.
