Story Seekers

Mon, Mar 25, 2019
11:00am - 12:00pm

Calling all Story Seekers!  The Bradford Area Public Library invites families with children ages birth to 5 to participate in our Story Seekers program every Monday and Friday at 11:00 am. We offer a variety of literacy activities that include reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing! A new story is offered each week with play experiences that encourage active learning and inspire the imagination. Children have opportunities to create their own stories using art materials, building blocks, dramatic play, and music and movement.

During the month of March, students from the University of Pittsburgh Bradford will lead the Story Seekers as part of their coursework. They will select a book and plan an activity covering the themes of spring, rainbow fish and STEM. It will be a great opportunity to support early literacy and our local university students as well.
