Story Seekers
Every Monday and Friday

11:00 am to 12:00 pm

Calling all Story Seekers!  The Bradford Area Public Library invites families with children ages birth to 5 to participate in our Story Seekers program every Monday and Friday at 11:00 am. We offer a variety of literacy activities that include reading, writing, talking, singing, and playing! A new story is offered each week with play experiences that encourage active learning and inspire the imagination. Children have opportunities to create their own stories using art materials, building blocks, dramatic play, and music and movement.

During the month of February, Story Seekers will listen to stories about groundhogs, turtles, monkeys, and sheep. They will read books about animals such as Baah Choo! by Sarah Weeks and Groundhog Gets a Say by Pamela Swallow. After the stories, they will do crafts related to animals. They will have a Valentine’s Day party on Friday, February 15th. Story Seekers will read a story about Valentine’s Day and do a related craft.
