Art Club

Wed, May 22, 2019
4:00pm - 5:00pm

The Art Club is for children in the 1st through 6th grade. Members study the works of famous artists and different forms of art and create works of art that illustrate the work.

The Art Club is supported in part by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, a state agency funded by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. With the funding from this grant, the Art Club is able to offer art classes facilitated by local artists. We will talk about various forms of art. They also will work on a quilling or paper filigree project. Julie Mader, Courtney Mealy and Judy help art club members finish up on projects and prepare for their art show scheduled in June. The program is free and open to the public.
