Curbside Pickup Hours

Wednesday 2 - 7

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 10 - 3

Sunday and Monday Closed

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, patrons will be able to access physical library materials through curbside pickup. The building remains closed to the public and patrons. Lobbies, restrooms, computers, and other spaces will not be accessible.

Pickup hours:

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday: 10:00am to 3:00pm
Wednesday: 2:00pm to 7:00pm
Closed Sunday and Monday

Requesting Materials:

Once your request is processed, library staff will call to assign a pickup date and time. Your items will be in a bag on a table at the front of the library, labeled with your first initial and last name.

Interlibrary loan is not available at this time. When requesting an item through the catalog, please make sure it is a Bradford item.

All items returned to the library will be quarantined for 72 hours before being returned to circulation. Due to these procedures, your hold time may be longer than normal. Thank you for your patience!

Rules and Restrictions:

  • Patrons will be limited to five items per library card to aid in the current quarantine and sanitation process. All video materials will be limited to five items per week.
  • Once your pickup time is scheduled, you cannot change your order.
  • Please wear a nose and mouth covering mask when you pick up your order, and respect social distancing protocol.
  • All returned items must go in the book drop, not on the pickup table.
  • The library is not accepting book or magazine donations at this time.
  • Bundles of five picture books will be available to parents and families - simply make that request over the phone.
  • If you do not have a specific title in mind, library staff will do their best to fill requests for certain genres or authors.

Curbside Business Services:

  • The library is now offering limited business services via curbside service, including copying, faxing, and scanning to email.
  • To minimize cash handling, the library is taking donations for these services instead of charging specific prices per copy, and library staff will not be giving back change.
  • All patrons at the library for business services must wear a mouth- and nose-covering mask.
  • To submit a request via email, patrons must send a message to info@bradfordlibrary.org. All necessary information must be included in the email - full name, the attached documents for printing, how many copies are needed, and if the printed documents need to be faxed. Patrons will receive an email to set up a pickup time when the documents are ready.
  • To place a walk-up request, patrons can ring the doorbell at the front of the library, and set the documents on the curbside pickup table. A BAPL staff member will take the documents - patrons can let the staff member know how many copies are needed. Please maintain social distancing guidelines of 6 feet, and do NOT hand documents directly to library staff.

Temporarily Suspended Services:

  • Public computer use
  • State and county-wide interlibrary loan
  • No volunteers in the building
  • No donations of library materials
  • No book sales
  • No meetings or group activities in the building
