  • Book Spine Poetry

    April is National Poetry Month.  Enter the library’s Book Spine Poetry Challenge!  Come raid the library’s book shelves and see what poetry you can create! We will have winners in three age brackets: 0-10 children, 11-18 tweens/teens, and 19+ adult. Snap a picture of your creation and email it to: marketing@bradfordlibrary.org
  • Upcycle This!

    This is a prerecorded program that is posted to the library’s Facebook and Instagram accounts on Thursdays, on a biweekly basis.  Discover how easy it is to create crafts with thrift store finds or old objects easily acquired from one’s own home!  Once the program has aired on the social media platforms, it is linked to the library’s website.
  • Test Kitchen

    We find the recipes.  You bring your appetite! The Test Kitchen is a virtual, prerecorded program that posts to the library’s Facebook page and Instagram account.  We share a recipe and record the process of executing the dish.  After airing the program on social media, it is then linked to the library’s website at: bradfordlibrary.org/virtual-programs

  • The Marionette Tradition of Austria

    The marionette has fascinated the world for millennia and continues to do so. Austria has whole heartedly embraced this art form and has contributed significantly to its further development. During this virtual event we’ll look closely at Austria’s history of puppetry, with emphasis on its role in the nobility, classical music, and culture. We will also explore the origins of the Salzburg Marionette Theatre, one of the world’s oldest marionette theaters still in full operation, both in Austria as well as a traveling company. Attendees will also see a few clips of several of their performances. This presentation is a must for puppet enthusiasts!   • Ten Things You Might Not Know About The Kinzua Bridge State Park

    Are you ready to join us in the library’s Community Room for Yoga with Kathy? Safety measures will be employed as participants must wear face masks and practice social distancing. In the event of amazing turnout, the library may need to restrict admission, as reduced capacity guidelines must be observed. Yoga with Kathy will also stream Live via the library’s Facebook page.
  • Earth Day-Delayed

    We are holding an Earth Day event for the children on Saturday, April 24! The weather promises to be better on this date! Bring the kiddos to the outdoor program and they can plant their own flower in a biodegradable pot to take home. Supplies are limited. Remember to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
